very cool!

my only idea I would have is to make the other 3 look like the bus - I mean to make them more "realistic" looking. The bus has that very real look, but the other 3 look more cartoony. Not that that's bad - it's not, and could totally work great- it's just an idea for this.

i totally see what you mean, the train especially. i'll try and have another crack at it keeping that in mind, i used reference photos for the bodies but kinda just freehanded the vehicles, i'll try and make them more realistic

I pretty much agree with super ryan,
do you think it could use some subtle colors?
I think the sign is necessary because their gestures haven't quite telling about extreme boredom yet

cool idea..maybe you could make each of the "bodies" different, like a kid, a lady, a man, one ina dress one in a suit...ect

hey thanks for that advice you too, i was kinda already thinking of dee's suggestion of changing the characters myself so i've given that a go. i tweaked the vehicles a bit but its still not perfect, and i think i need to work on the sign more too. what dya think?

my only critique is that the lollipop (or whatever you call those candies) kinda gets lost in the kid's shirt. Perhaps coloring it in would help?

yeah james, i'd been meaning to fix that but overlooked it, i'll sort it out

algi - i see what you mean, i wasn't even sure of the lollipop, i was thinking maybe if the kid had a toy or yoyo or somethiing it might help convey boredom more.

i'm still debating adding more colour, i'll prob give it a try

i think i'm certainly near done with this, i did try colouring the people in but i really prefer with using the negative space
